Utica Cason is a seasoned nonprofit consultant and community leader who has made a meaningful impact in organizational development, housing advocacy, and community-based services. With over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, affordable housing, and human services, Utica has helped organizations build sustainable programs that strengthen communities and create pathways for long-term success.
As the Founder and CEO of SOAR Outreach, Utica leads initiatives that support individuals and families through outreach, education, and resource connection. She works closely with nonprofit organizations to enhance their capacity through strategic planning, program development, partnership building, and grant support. Her expertise helps organizations expand their reach, improve operations, and develop sustainable solutions that drive measurable impact.
Utica’s professional background also includes leadership and technical roles with Yardi Systems, where she managed national projects, developed training programs, and improved service delivery systems. In addition, her experience as a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Agent and property manager has allowed her to support housing initiatives such as Section 8 and LIHTC programs, connecting individuals and families to stable housing opportunities.
Her passion for social impact extends beyond her consulting work. Utica has served in advisory and volunteer roles with organizations such as the Wake County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council and Activate Good, reflecting her deep commitment to empowering communities and creating equitable access to resources and opportunities.
Utica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Services from SUNY–Empire State College and remains dedicated to helping organizations grow, lead with purpose, and make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.
