SOAR Outreach is a Wake County, North Carolina- based 501(c)3
nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering all youth, with increased accessibility and support for low-income and homeless youth and families. Established in 2014, SOAR Outreach has been addressing the lack of basic personal care and hygiene
items among homeless youth, promoting health equity, closing the achievement gap, and enhancing the quality of life for children in marginalized communities. SOAR Outreach believes that by providing essential resources, educational support, and access to
opportunities, they can help youth excel in their education, break the cycles of poverty, and build a brighter future. Currently, recognizing the importance of Information Technology (IT) education in shaping future opportunities for low-income youth and the impact nonprofit CEOs can make in their communities, SOAR Outreach has shifted its focus to uplifting the lives of those often left
on the fringes of society. With a laser focus on pivotal programs, the organization is driving change on multiple fronts. The Scholarship Program for high school students, and the potential extension to
adults for Information Technology courses, is a testament to SOAR Outreach’s dedication to education as a vehicle for change. By providing financial support and access to IT education, SOAR Outreach empowers individuals to seize opportunities and reshape their futures.
